Via email sent by DOEGrids CA When your signed certificate is available you will be sent an email by the DOEGrids CA. The email note will contain a link to a page containing all your certificate information. Open that page in your browser, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the Import Your Certificate button.
Note that you must import your certificate into the same browser running on the same computer from which you requested the certificate.
Most likely you will want to export your signed certificate and its associated private key from your browser's database so that you can use them with Globus and the grid-proxy-init program. For details on how to export your certificate and key from your browser see the links on the left.
By searching the DOEGrids CA listShould you lose the email sent to you by the DOEGrids CA you can search the list of signed certificates, find your own, and import it.
To search for your certificate:
- Click here to openthe search form.
- Scroll down to the Subject Name section. Check the box next to Show certificates with a subject name matching the following:
- Enter either the email address or name you listed during your certificate request into the appropriate text box. You may enter just a part of your address or name.
- For Match Method choose the Partial radio button.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Find button.
In the list of certificates returned in your browser window find your certificate. Click on the Details button. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Import Your Certificate button.
